Hosted by comedian Cameron Esposito, the first Awards for Excellence in Audio (known as The Ambies) were handed out Sunday night. Wondery's Dying for Sex brought home the Podcast of the Year award, but it wasn't the only show on Wondery's roster to win big.

Podcast of the Year: Dying for Sex

When host Nikki Boyer’s best friend Molly is diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer, she decides to do something bold. She leaves an unhappy marriage and embarks on a series of sexual adventures to feel alive.

Over this six-part miniseries, Molly shares the details of her hilarious escapades in a story about friendship, death, and what you do with the time you have left.

Best Entertainment Podcast: Even the Rich

Sometimes we all think our lives are crazy. But on Wondery’s Even the Rich, co-hosts Brooke Siffrinn and Aricia Skidmore-Williams pull back the curtain and dish on someone else’s craziness for a change. Brooke and Aricia tell the stories of some of the greatest family dynasties in history, from the Murdochs to the Carters (Jay-Z and Beyoncé, that is). Because as none other than Queen Elizabeth once said, “A good gossip is a wonderful tonic.”

Best Fiction Podcast: Blood Ties - Season 2

When Eleonore and Michael Richland lose their parents unexpectedly in a small plane crash, they must choose between two very different paths: honour their father’s legacy as a world-renowned cardiologist and health care magnate — or risk everything for the truth. This first season of six scripted episodes stars Gillian Jacobs (Community, Love), Josh Gad (Frozen, Book of Mormon), and Amy Landecker (Transparent).

Best Original Score and Music Supervision: Jacked: Rise of the New Jack Sound

Have you ever had a dream? Something you wanted so bad you just couldn’t let it go? For a group of kids in Harlem in the Eighties, their dreams would change pop music forever. Teddy Riley, Timmy Gatling, and Aaron Hall form a group called Guy that would fuse hip-hop and R&B and launch a new sound. By the early Nineties, the New Jack Sound dominated the pop music charts: Bel Biv Devoe, Bobby Brown, Boyz II Men, and many more. But like all dreams, the rise of the New Jack sound would come at a cost. And not everyone would make it to the top. From Wondery and Universal Music Group, JACKED is a story of friendship, gangsters, double-crosses, and big dreams. Hosted by Golden Globe winner Taraji P. Henson.

Best True Crime Podcast: Dr. Death Season 2

If someone you love is diagnosed with cancer you want them to get the best treatment from the best doctors. In 2013, patients in Michigan thought Farid Fata was that doctor. Between his prestigious education, years of experience and pleasant bedside manner, Fata was everything you could want in a doctor. But he was not who he appeared to be. This is the story of hundreds of patients in Michigan, a doctor, and a poisonous secret.
